Colleen Belongea is a Wisconsin Licensed Private Investigator and Co-owner of Assured Private Investigations established in 2016.  Her specialty is criminal defense investigations but has offered a variety of other services such as, process serving, surveillance, accident reviews, fraud investigations, backgrounds and locates.  Prior to becoming a private investigator, Colleen worked as a police officer for 22 years. During that time, Colleen became a State of Wisconsin Department of Justice Instructor and trained officers in Firearms, Defense and Arrest, Vehicle Contacts, Pursuit Driving and many other topics. Colleen also instructed recruit academies for 30 years.

In addition to being a Private Investigator, Colleen is also an adjunct instructor (due to a recent retirement) for recruit academies and specialized training. She holds an associate’s degree in Police Science, Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Organizational Behavior and Leadership.
